Hill Bros History

Hill Bros Expressways was formed in Kamloops BC in 1962 and operated as a one truck business hauling freight for different companies for many years.  The brothers were involved in the creation of Oldham’s Transport in 1967, and that is when Hill Bros. moved to Calgary, AB.  Oldham’s grew with amazing speed, serving the east and west Kootenays and BC interior.  When Oldham’s needed more equipment it was a perfect opportunity for Hill Bros to get into the Tractor Service business "officially".

In July 1973 Hill Bros Expressways was incorporated.  When Oldham’s Transport was sold in 1978, Hill Bros Expressways bought out Brothers Two Trucking, a Calgary Tractor Service.  Hill Bros began to grow slowly through the 80’s and 90’s.

Then in 2003 Hill Bros expanded into Edmonton at the request of its clients.  The 2nd generation owner and President, Bob Hill, says it has been a long hard trail, but is proud to continue the Hill Bros legacy servicing the industry in a tractor service capacity.
